Configuring judging criteria

Each judging criterion has a name, a weight, and a polarity. Weight controls how much that criterion counts toward a submission's overall score relative to the others. Polarity controls direction — most criteria are "higher is better" (e.g. Innovation Potential), but some are deliberately "lower is better" (e.g. Cost, Risk); getting polarity right matters, since a criterion with the wrong polarity would silently reward submissions that score worse on it. You'll also pick a ranking method for the challenge (weighted average, TOPSIS, community vote, and others — see the Judging & Evaluation category for what each one does). The ranking method is what actually combines every judge's scores across every criterion into one leaderboard.
